Care You Need with the Coverage You Have
We know that cost can be a big concern when it comes to taking care of your health. Fortunately, OHIP covers annual eye exams for those under 20 and over 64.
For those between 20 and 64, most third-party and employer insurance plans do cover, at least partially, the cost of primary eye care. It is always good to become familiar with your specific healthcare plan before making an appointment to avoid any surprises in cost.
For your convenience, we direct bill to many third party insurance providers.
The cost of your appointment is dependent on your requirements and based on the level of service you need. For example, contact lens exams, diabetic eye exams, or exams for those who need specialized care will need more time than a regular eye exam allows, and will likely pay more.
Our comprehensive eye exams include a complete health examination and evaluation of your eyes, testing for eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes, sight tests, and refractive prescription.
We like to make paying for your eye care as convenient as possible, so we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, cheque, or debit.
We bill to Telus health portal providers and Greenshield.
